My Dad too was an...Thanks for these memories Barry. My Dad too was an older vet, age 31 when he went in, leaving behind my Mom and 2 children ages 5 and 18 months. I have some memories of the war, mainly those involving my Dad. I have a picture of my Mom, Dave and I at Christmas in 1944 and the sadness on our faces, especially my Mom's is hard to see.
